Workholding equipment for honing operations, allows the workpiece to be quickly positioned in a seat mounted to the translation carriage of the honing machines.

Solutions to machining challenges:

The system allows the workpiece to float without exerting force on the fixture
A quick-release system speeds up the loading and unloading operations of the parts to be machined
As workpiece geometries change, only the central part of the assembly needs to be replaced

Any part that requires, as a final production stage: very tight diametrical tolerances, extremely high surface finishes, cylindricity that other processes cannot achieve or, after heat treatments, restoring high-precision roundness on parts that must be mated together.
