Horizontal spindle surface grinding
Operation of grinding on flat or profiled surfaces with continuous or interrupted cut, by means of precision horizontal spindle grinding machines, with a reciprocating or rotary table.
This type of processing is necessary to obtain flat surfaces within extremely tight tolerances.
Solutions to processing problems or critical issues:
Machining of thin workpieces with heat dissipation difficulties and consequent deformation
Non-magnetic workpieces or parts with small sections that make it particularly difficult to safely clamp the workpieces
Creation of complex profiles that can cause burning problems or alterations in the material structure
Machining with very large contact surfaces that cause premature loading of the grinding wheel structure
High-speed Creep-feed machining involving the use of machines designed for this purpose to avoid safety and environmental problems (isolated work area, specific protections for high speeds, recovery and purification of oil mists, frequent or continuous wheel dressing, etc.)
Machining of composite parts
Machined parts
Molds, bases, equipment, blades, shearing and stamping tools, automotive parts.
