Internal grinding
Operations of grinding on internal surfaces of cylindrical or conical components, with continuous or interrupted cut, carried out by means of precision grinding machines with horizontal or vertical axis wheels.
Solutions to processing problems or criticalities:
Machining of components with unfavorable diameter/length ratios with consequent risk of deflection and/or vibration of the wheel-extension assembly
Grinding of blind holes
Machining of components with continuous surface areas and others with interrupted cut
Burns caused by poor coolant delivery
Components requiring specific roughness specifications (injectors, sliding bushings, gears, etc.)
Machining on automated work cells where there is an absolute need to achieve the required process consistency to allow the equipment to be utilized without operator supervision.
Machined components
Gears, flanges, reductions.
